- Waterton Lakes National Park is located in southern Alberta Canada, just north of Glacier National Park in Montana USA. This image was taken while we were on a day hike to Bertha Lake. Bertha Lake has some red rock/gravel along its shoreline (at least parts of it). In this photo, you can see the red rock fade away into deeper water.
