- In July 2009, Brent and Cherie travelled to the South American country of Ecuador to participate in a short-term mission project. Before we left Ecuador, we took some time to go up the gondola that takes tourists high above the city of Quito in the Andes mountains. The view was pretty amazing! Notice the snow-capped volcano in the background.
